Things Kids Say… At School

So, today at school, both kids had pro­fes­sions of affec­tion said to them.

Lizzy…  ”Matt said he was my boyfriend.”  Lizzy indi­cated that Jacob, Ryan and Matt could be boyfriends when she grows up.

Sam…  Made­line said “Remem­ber when we were in kinder­garten and I had a crush on you?  Well, I still do.”

Ahh, ele­men­tary school…  I’m help­ing out in Lizzy’s class on Tues­day.  I’m going to ques­tion the boys’ inten­tions.  Find out their future plans.  =D

Sam Can Ride a Bike

After lots of prac­tice and coach­ing, Sam is finally rid­ing his bike with­out train­ing wheels!  He’s so happy and proud of him­self.  It’s really cool to see him cruis­ing around the yard on his bike.  Once he grad­u­ates from the lit­tler bike, he’ll move up to the big­ger BMX bike that he really wants to ride.

Sam’s Last Baseball Game 2012

Here are few pho­tos from Sam’s last base­ball game from late June, 2012.  It was a coach pitch league and we were really excited to see Sam hit the ball and run the bases.  It’s amaz­ing how much he improved as the sea­son went on.

First Lost Tooth

Sam lost his first tooth today.  Mark it down, July 15, 2012 July 17, 2012.  We can’t find the tooth, though we have it nar­rowed down that he lost it between the time when he brushed his teeth in the morn­ing (Jen remem­bers not see­ing a gap in the teeth) and when we went on a bike ride at around 1:00pm.

He wrote a nice let­ter to the tooth fairy explain­ing that he can’t find his tooth and is hop­ing that she still is able to visit him and bring a lit­tle gift to him.

EDIT: Jen inspected Sam’s mouth closer and it turns out that he DIDN’T lose a tooth on July 15, 2012.  He has an ‘adult’ tooth com­ing in and it pushed the loose one over and made it look like he lost it.  The new pho­tos are posted with the actual miss­ing tooth.  Tooth is snug under Sam’s pil­low await­ing a visit from the tooth fairy.

Wienermobile!

The kids got to see the Wiener­mo­bile today in Wal­worth, WI.  They had a great time, though, for some rea­son the Wiener­mo­bile wasn’t open to go inside like it was last time. Either way, a good time was had.
